Grandma would have approved!

When she arrivd at Ellis Island from Italy, my Grandmother Chiarella Derlitz brought what I have always believed to be the BEST Italian recipes possible. If she didn't make it, it wasn't really Italian.. Well, Grandma would have approved of Elodia Rigante's Italian Immigrant Cooking. So many of Mama Rigante's recipes are simple twists on grandma's favorites, complete with family photos that could be my own.
