This is a compilation of 36 outlines of some of the best books for self-improvement. It sure beats chicken soup!When my secretary was typing some of them years ago, our controller commented on how many there were and asked, "Have they done you any good?" I responded, "Well, have they?" He thought about that for a minute and then said, "Yes. Yes, I think they have".Despite my terminal cynicism toward the educational system, I have the highest regard for education - there cannot be enough! Most occurs outside the classroom. My approach is to study only things I really want to understand. When I read a good book, I sideline as I go and then, later, reread the sidelines. If the book seems important enough, I write an outline of the sidelines. It only takes a couple hours and the outline can then be referred to in the future.
