It Comes Down To Wanting Something was written when my husband and I lived in Manlius, New York. Lindsay went to work for Philips Electronics as a senior RF engineer. The company had two major problems, which Lindsay found very difficult to accept: Ponderous executive meetings at the drop of a hat and computer mania. Everything had to be entered into the computer and hand calculations were not acceptable.

Each morning, when he left for work, I went pounding into the computer room, pulled up a blank "Word" page and started writing at a rapid fire pace. I never stopped It took me a year to write this book and it was something "treasured" I had always wanted A journey I had always planned to take.
