A team of dedicated geologists is called to a meeting at Head Office that will change all of their lives forever. The expedition seemed straight forward enough at first. It was no more challenging than anything else they had faced as a team before. Harsh weather conditions, cold, the environmental challenges. They were a professional group of people, but this was different to anything else for one simple fact and was to end up being the biggest challenge or obstacle they had ever had to overcome. They had a limited window of opportunity in which to achieve their objective. The success of the assignment hinged on being as proficient and expedient as possible. What they hadn't bargained on was the cause of the events that would unfold about them. A change in events that would result in the death of many good friends and the probable failure of their objective with disastrous consequences for all involved and maybe have an impact on the wider world and humanity. The extreme weather was the least of their concerns, as the true horror of why they were in this hell hole dawned upon them.
