After the Agency tried to kill Joe he found himself on an island in the middle of the Pacific. Since everyone thought he was dead there would never be a rescue so he would have to live as a primitive and survive. It took years to realize that he wasn't alone on the island and also two other islands supported people, one people being cannibals. The struggles Joe faced would either make him go crazy or make him stronger.
