Islamophobia in France

Islamophobia in France, a theme that reflects the current climate in France. The importance of the subject has prompted us to delve deeper and provide new insights into its visible and hidden phases. The study includes a historical retrospective and a legislative approach, through which France's institutional and jurisdictional order was built. The study is divided into three parts: the first deals with the history of Islam in Europe; the second with the history of Islam in France, and the third with the legislative content between two structures, that of France and Islamic principles. In addition, the reports taken into account for this study emphasize the scale of Islamophobic acts, as well as the share of responsibility of political leaders. So, a sharp increase in Islamophobic acts has been noted, which may be translated by the transfer of a certain fear of the unknown, and of strangeness, or by hostility to getting to know others through principles that are not common to one's own.
