The Islamic Education, a Step-by-Step Approach is a series of books designed to introduce Islamic Studies to students. It is meant to provide the basic Islamic knowledge, detailed enough to fulfill the needs of Muslim children raised in Western cultures yet appropriate to their age level and abilities. Planning such a curriculum, we kept in mind that our children need vivid examples and role models, of which there is a wealth in Islamic history.
A very important aspect covered in the books is the Aqeedah. The children are encouraged to look at Allah's creations and think of His ability. The concept of Tawheed is made clear. We tried to instill the love of Allah in their hearts through the lessons. stories are included with picture. We encourage them to learn the Islam. Finally, the beliefs of a Muslim are introduced, with a general idea about the books of Allah, His angels, His messengers and the Day of Judgment.
