African history professor and archaeologist Sheridan Chase is surprised when his cat tips over a canopic jar and a papyrus with a warning and a clue is found inside. The clue leads him to believe a hidden temple of Isis may still be on the island of Qasr Ibrim in Lake Nasser in southern Egypt. He enlists the help of Benjamin, his top student, to search for the temple and report back. When Ben suddenly disappears, Sheridan takes two more students to search for Ben, and hopefully the temple of Isis. Their problems only multiply as they search deep tunnels under centuries of ruins, surrounded by water.
