Wonderful Immigration Story

A first-hand account of life in Finland at the turn of the Nineteenth Century, Isaac Polvi gives insight into the lives of Finnish peaseants, their poverty, and their politics. A great story of Isaac's survival and his immigration to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the first half of the Twentieth Centry. This is one of the best stories I have ever read.
