Some time between 1 January 1746 and 24 April 1748, the Dutch-Portuguese-Jewish philosopher and political economist, Isaac de Pinto, published the Patriotic Tribute. The work consists of three interrelated essays on the early modern Dutch political economy. Whilst some of De Pinto's ideas as formulated in the Patriotic Tribute have become known, the work has not been published. This edition contains an English language translation of the three essays that constitute the Patriotic Tribute.
