The nobleman represents Christ going to his Father to obtain his kingdom then return back to Earth to receive his people in the second coming. In John the 14th chapter, we see him affirming that he was going to prepare a place and coming again to receive his disciples that where he is there they may be also. It also talks candidly about a Son who forgives his father and is reunited in the love of Christ after many years of separation.
