If you are a parent of a child who has undergone trauma you know that the task of regulating your own emotions, alongside your child's, can seem like an insurmountable responsibility. Luckily, I found solace in writing. Writing became a way for me to process the emotions that come along with trauma. The words in this book served as an outlet to release emotions from my own trauma, but the intent behind this book is much more vast. These words are meant to help facilitate the healing journey of each individual reader.

Thus, this work is a culmination of my healing, which I hope to pass onto anyone else who has undergone similar experiences. If you have experienced narcissistic abuse, sexual abuse, heart break, betrayal, comp het, internalized homophobia, failure or embarrassment, then this book is for you. It is my deepest hope that my writing will serve as a vehicle towards your healing. I hope my words ignite the spark within your soul and guide you to your highest calling.
