Caution: You might accidentally learn something about English.

Sneaky author, Todd Strasser, slips in English lessons when you least expect them. This book/series is similar to [A Series of Unfortunate Events]. While you are deeply entrenched in reading, the author slips in English lessons and intriguing trivia. They pretend that this book was written for young ones, but it is actually written for us all, as most people were young once before the book was written and can now catch up. This is a thrilling adventure through the realistic scholastic environment. You will meet friends and foes. You will meet authority figures. You will find out who cut the cheese. Be sure to read the introduction, beginning with a message from the author, where he explains why there is no gratuitous potty humor.

Great Book

My son is 7 years old. We have spent the summer reading this book out loud along with the 2nd book in the series "Is that a sick cat in your backpack?". He can't get enough of them. He's even willing to go to bed early if it means more time to read. I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out!
