Many Christians have the mistaken notion that Jesus is building a heavenly mansion in New Jerusalem for all believers regardless of the way they live. Those adopting this perspective tend to think that Heaven is pretty much the same for all believers, regardless of the way they live. The parable of the labors is thought to prove that everyone gets the same paycheck in terms of rewards. Supposedly, the communistic God gives the same paycheck to faithful believers (i.e. overcomers) as He does to unfaithful believers. The payment amount on their heavenly paycheck might as well read ditto. The emblem of Christian communism is a fitting logo for this view of Heaven. The present study will refute such communistic views of Heaven by comparing Paul's teaching of the workmen with Jesus parable of the laborers.
