Wonderful Read

Romance isn't rocket science. Its formulaic, written for a specific audience and when an author writes something that sells, they stick with it. Diana Palmer is one of those authors who has a formula and very rarely changes that. She knows what works, what doesn't and writes it every time. I do admit that *maybe* the fact that the heroine is this is only 19 made me frown a little. But the story is well written, the characters well developed (especially Tony) and Jared and Sara make such a perfect couple in the end, that the age difference, in the end, doesn't matter. I've read books where the age difference is similar, or even further apart that were terribly written and annoying to read. One was even one of the latest Harlequin Presents. At least when Diana Palmer writes a book, she does it well. She makes the age difference work or to not matter. I truly enjoyed this book. Jared is withdrawn, cold and bitter at the start. But as he starts to see the goodness in Sara, as they bond over shared grief (his lost daughter, her lost grandfather) and interests, he starts to unbend and become softer. The only character I didn't like was Max. Too bitchy, too pushy and too aggressive. I'd reccommend this to anyone who wanted a good read.

Jerry Snodgrass, IRON COWBOY

You'll feel as if you're there. A wonderful story that gives you the real feel for the characters. This is a romance full of intrigue.

Iron Cowboy by Diana Palmer

I love Ms. Palmer's books and this one doesn't disappoint. I can't wait for her next book!!
