Iris Rhodes thought moving in to help her sister, Ivy, after a car wreck would be good for them both, especially after Iris's marriage fell apart. Iris wouldn't be alone, and Ivy wouldn't lose her house. But when the for sale sign in the neighboring yard comes down and its new owner is revealed, Iris realizes what a terrible decision she's made.
Judson Shaw broke Iris's heart in high school. The ten years since have done little to ease the hurt she still feels when he's around. When he drunkenly confesses one night that he never actually betrayed her, she begins to question everything, and old feelings start to reemerge.
To move forward, she'll have to face the pain of the past, and decide if loving Judson Shaw again is worth the risk.
