I passed the +50 over a decade ago. So, I should qualify for this book.
I must admit that I played with the iPad before reading the book, so I cannot tell what it would be like to be introduced to the iPad by this book.
What I can say is that it's good to have a book that tells you what you want to know but explains it differently. And I don’t want to sound like a know-it-all snot, as I have learned a few especially useful things.
The book is well organized in a typical textbook format with all the usual advantages. It also includes references to external websites to supplement the material. There is even one or two sections on care and feeding.
I've been exploring the different functions and purposes of the iPad simply because they exist. My main goal is to use it as a reader for books, magazines, and other materials. Would you believe that this book even explains how to navigate iBooks?
