I must admit that I played with the iPad before reading the book, so I cannot tell what it would be like to be introduced to the iPad by this book.
What I can say is that it's good to have a book that tells you what you want to know but explains it differently. And I don’t want to sound like a know-it-all snot, as I have learned a few especially useful things.
The book is well organized in a typical textbook format with all the usual advantages. It also includes references to external websites to supplement the material. There is even one or two sections on care and feeding.
