There's poo in the garden.
Dad thinks a cat did it. Iona knows better. Five-year-old Iona is certain there's only one possible explanation: a Plop Goblin has been sneaking around at night and throwing poo over the fence. Dad, of course, thinks this is ridiculous. But when strange things keep happening - and the evidence becomes increasingly difficult (and smelly) to ignore - Iona and Dad follow the trail into the woods. What they discover is far worse than Dad imagined. A secret poo factory. Animals producing different kinds of poo. Bags hanging from trees. And right in the middle of it all is the Plop Goblin: a mischievous little creature in a brown boiler suit who thinks the whole thing is absolutely hilarious. Stopping him isn't going to be easy. But Iona has a better idea. Maybe the Plop Goblin doesn't need to stop being the Plop Goblin. Maybe he just needs somewhere better to put all that poo... A funny, silly and delightfully disgusting adventure about imagination, determination and one dad slowly discovering that his daughter might actually be right. And just when Dad thinks it's finally over, a letter arrives. It's covered in bogeys. The Plop Goblin's brother is coming. His name is Snot. Dad has only one thing to say. "No."
