Inviting all the Ghosts to Dinner is a poetry collection filled with all the honesty I've always wanted to exude in my day to day life. Have you ever been afraid of showing people who you really are? All your ghosts, lessons learned, mistakes made, shame carried, fantasies and daydreams, people you've loved and people you've hurt. It can be scary to lay it all out there for others to comment and judge you on. At the end of the day though, you're only as free as the secrets you keep. Especially, if those secrets are kept from yourself. So, these are my ghosts. These poems explore childhood trauma, coping mechanisms, mental health, love, desire, fantasies of a life well lived, and coming to terms with who you really are. I hope that when you read this, you'll feel less alone. Everyone has ghosts, it's what you learn from them that matters.
