Invest like a trader: A trading-like approach to investing Buy and hold investing has become buy and pray investing, with countless sleepless nights. Although some people have a natural ability to be successful in trading, most others do not have this. I think, however, that everyone can learn to trade the markets. I have spent many years studying the markets, reading books on trading, doing back-tests and of course trading. Finally, I arrived at the level that in the long run, I make more money then I lose. Once a trader has survived a few years in the market, he/she can ultimately become successful and start making money consistently. The potential rewards are great. Not letting other people manage your money and trading your own money successfully is an exciting and liberating feeling. Knowing you have the skill to always make money in the markets makes you feel really independent.
