Invasive Legacy: Peter Stern is asked by the senior partner in his law firm to investigate the death of a lawyer in a tragic event where he is burned gruesomely while barbecuing a steak at his mountain cabin. With a double indemnity life insurance policy, Sterns death must be proven to be an accident or a homicide, with large financial consequences for his estate but the will is missing, so he draws the interest of the long absent sister, Honey Horton or the close friend and named benificiary, Alicia Allende. These women each draw him into their world's. Honey as a Casino hostess and Alicia as a well connected politician. The plot twists and turns as Stern meets numerous conflicts of interest and is threatened or cajoled into choosing sides.
