Book nine of a twelve book beginner piano instruction series. Starting from level one this series can be an adult self-learning and teacher assisting piano instruction book for ages best started from six years and up. This series has been developed and tested with over one thousand beginner level students in music schools for over fifteen years before publication. Each book is dependent upon an understanding of all previous books material starting from level one. Book Format Basic piano notation will be introduced with a single new note, symbol or term followed by numerous pages of drills and songs to gain understanding and skill in its applicationAll pages will demonstrate only the current new note or symbol as well as any past notes, symbols and terms introduced earlier in the book or past books of the series. All symbols not yet introduced will not be present on any page. Each note or symbol will be introduced as needed to complete each step in the progression with many drills and exercises to develop understanding and skill in application.New notes and symbols will require understanding of all that has preceded it. When difficulties arise the student has only to go back to where there was no difficulty, clear up the area that follows and the student will be able to continue with understanding. Note, the only reasons a student slows down or has difficulty is too much new material given in too short a time without sufficient drill and any previous material not clearly understood. This principle is derived from the Basic Study Manual by L Ron Hubbard, Educator and Humanitarian which inspired the format of this twelve book series.
