Decent for beginners

Generally effective at portraying concepts and facts about general chemistry for new learners, but an introductory college-level textbook I recommend you instead for anyone learning in their spare time. Some sections throughout the book feel under explained and a new learner will probably find themselves watching Khan Academy and Professor Dave videos to understand concepts that the textbook only briefly touches on before asking the reader to answer questions about (Hess's law was so underexplained that it felt like an unfinished rough draft). But overall a quality learning tool with some need for external learning sources to understand everything the book presents.

The textbook was in good shape and new, except one corner was a bit bent, probably due to the shipping process.

Did the job

I needed this book for class, I ordered it expidited and it came just two days later. The book is in very good condition, there are just a few highlightes at the end of each chapter. Alltogether, I am very pleased with the quality of my book and the speedy delivery.

Understandable textbook.

It's pretty easy to follow. The diagrams and the layout of the text is simple.
