IntroductionDear Ladies and Gentlemen, this book "Introduction to Psychodynamic Theories in Psychology" is created specifically with the idea to introduce readers into the basic concepts and views of psychodynamic theories in psychology. The book does not claim either comprehensiveness or thoroughness, but I dare to say that it is a nice and useful reading for every lover of the psychodynamic trends in psychology. The book gives a general overview of the ideas and views of the classical psychoanalysis created by Sigmund Freud, the ideas and views of analytical psychology created by Carl Gustav Jung, the ideas and views of the individual psychology created by Alfred Adler and the ideas and views of Neo-Freudianism in the face of Erich Fromm and Karen Horney. My attempt was to make a light, short, and pleasant for a reading book that would provide every reader with something interesting and accessible from this wide and vast field of scientific knowledge. The book explains and presents many of the main concepts and phenomena in the field of psychodynamics, examining some basic theories about the construction, functioning, and typology of the personality from the point of view of the deep life of man, his biographical past and his latent/hidden motives. He has obtained a Psychoanalysis Diploma and he has specialized in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
