Very complete, tough read

The main difference between this book and other linear books is that it starts at the beginning - by describing the Vector space that linear algebra works in. Used it while auditing a graduate level linear course. Pros- Very complete index, definitions are easy to find. Cons- examples can be very short, no applied examples. If you use linear, or learn it, I would pick this up as a reference.
