The book was brand new, as advertised, and I got it for a very very good price. Shipping took a little longer than I would have liked, but for that price...

Intro to Heat Transfer

Its a required text for my college, so no a whole lot I can do about it

Excellent textbook

While IDBL does start off very slowly, by the time chapter three starts it really hits it's stride. The book contains a surprising amount of information compared to how readable it is (at least compared to BSL, the long time standard for the subject), and the examples and derivations are relevant and well explained. There are just no weak parts of the book.

Buy it! You will love it!

I am a mechanical engineer, age 33. I like to read technical books. The best books in heat transfer (and I've read plenty of them) is 1.Introduction To Heat Transfer by Incropera and DeWitt. 2.Heat Transfer by Jack Holman This book is like a great art painting! You will love it! Great not only for a student but also for a professional.

Great Book

I don't usually write reviews of books that I have purchased but I felt that I had to for this one. Does a great job in explaining the concepts and doesn't leave you lost as it moves through the chapters. It is written clearly and very easy to follow. The answers(not the worked out solutions) are avaliable on the company's website. (....)
