Excellent introduction

This is an amazing book. With colorful illustrations, clear explanation, and short but interesting examples, it guides the reader through an introduction to BASIC programming in less than 50 pages. I learned from this book when I was in third grade, before our family even had a computer, just working through the examples on paper. It's that engaging! It's a shame that books like this are not available today; but if you can, get a copy of this book and something like REALbasic, and you or your child will be starting on a good path towards a fascinating hobby.
