Continuing the saga...

You really need to read the first 5 books to follow everything (but believe me, once you get started, you'll devour them so fast you won't believe it!). This book introduces a LOT of new, minor characters (and a few new major ones) that help show the changes that the empire of Gandistra is experiencing, while also following our Seating Blending on their mission into Gracely, where all sorts of political struggles are going on. You need a chart to keep up with all the characters, but having read everything Sharon Green has written, I promise you won't be disappointed for your efforts!

Intrigues - The Blending Enthroned

This book was great! I cannot wait until the next one comes out. Sharon Green really keeps her readers interested and wanting more. I have read the entire series The Blending and absolutly loved those too. The first book I recieved from a friend and did not know if I would like it, but now I am hooked. Keep up the good work Ms. Green ! =)

Unlike the Other Reviewers........

Unlike the other reviewers of this book, I found the introduction of the enemies very interesting. It gave us, the readers, some background with which to judge their actions and decisions. Also, I have found that The Six are a bit too good for my tastes, and I like how the enemies have actual character flaws, and, at least in their country, the political intrigues of her first five books are present. That is one thing that seems lacking in Gandistra in this book, and only the return of the nobles will really change that lack, so the cunningness, backstabbing, and alliances of the enemies are needed that much more. I hope that she continues this series, and I hope she will be able to finish the series with publishers willing to publish her series, unlike her other book series, the one that included "The Far Side of Forever" and "Hellhound Magic," which had a third book, but the third was left unpublished due to lack of interest. I loved THIS book, and I think that the introduction ofthe minor characters might be important because those minor characters might be in the future books (i.e. maybe in the next seated blending, or something equally as important). Or, possibly, the characters that were introduced were merely there as character references use in order to show how the people of Gan Garee, and even Gandistra, are handling the change of power and governmental structure. So, for me, this book was worth buying and reading, and I recommend,to those that have not read the previous series of five books, to read that series before reading this, or you will not understand most of the references in this book. I also recommend you read them because they are very good books, and I have read all of the books in the series twice, and will probably read them many times more.

New Blending Book

I enjoyed this book but one thing that annoyed me was the fact that it introduced a lot of new characters, some of which seemed to have no relevance to the story. Hopefully now that Ms. Green is finished with the introductions the next book will move much faster and tie all the story lines together. One note for new readers: if you haven't read the the blending series before this do so, because you will be completly lost without it. Besides that the book got really interesting at the end, complete with a traditional cliff hanger ending. I can't wait for the next one!

The Blending Enthroned

Like the last series by Sharon Green, The Blending, this book was about Jovvi, Tamrissa, Naran, Rion, Vallant and Lorand. One of the bad things in this book, according to me, was that the author spent more time introducing the enemies than refamiliarizing me with the main characters that the readers have grown to love. One of the good aspects of this book is that there is less gooey-stuff, if you know what I mean. I wish Sharon Green had a map of the different countries and cities so I could follow along better. However, the ending is very catchy and will grab me in for the next book: Deceptions.
