She found him following a line of prints that led from the water's edge toward the tree line. The tracks were spaced roughly four feet apart, suggesting a stride length that matched the enormous size of the feet. Some prints were clearer than others, depending on the consistency of the ground, but the pattern was unmistakable. Something large and bipedal had walked along their campsite during the night.
