Into the Storm

By Donald Rawlinson

Book Overview

Into the Storm tells the true story of Donald Rawlinson's life, from his first day of basic training to his retirement from the Department of Defense. Overflowing with both light-hearted moments from training and the intensity of combat and hospitalization, Rawlinson's memoir highlights the very real issues veterans face--at war, coming home, integrating back into society, and dealing with the Veterans Administration.

"My hope is that people reading it will apply the problems and frustration to veterans that they know and give them a better understanding of some veterans' issues."-- Donald Rawlinson
