A Heart-warming Family Story

This is a beautiful story of how a mother and son spend a special day together doing simple things, like swinging on a tire swing and finding treasures. The pictures are simple but have a lot of interesting things (tree frogs, deer, pinecones) for our 18 month old to point out. The words are really poetry. This is one book we don't mind at all reading over and over (and yes, our son does ask for it). It would also be appropriate for an older child. Sorry to hear this book is out of print.
