INTO THE FOREST by Rebecca Frankel
Morris and Miriam Rabinowitz, their two young daughters along with their extended families had everything stolen from them and everyone was placed into a newly constructed ghetto at Zhetel. They saw what was beginning to occur with the executions and knew that they had to stay alive at any cost. Since Morris was a forester, he knew the surrounding woods quite well and had made several good life-long Chrisitan friends who would help them in their struggle for survival. Morris decided that they would go hide in the forest instead of allowing themselves to be exterminated by the overzealous nazis who were trying to take over their world.
