A long-time classic for a reason!

This book was written years ago, and has remained a classic for a very long time. Ken Gire has incredible insight into the life of Jesus, and how situations may have been. I have read this book over and over and over. Highly recommend!

The entire series is amazing!

Ken makes you feel as though you are truly present at these critical moments in Scripture. He offers insight into familiar scenes in the bible that are so profound. The result is that the stories will be cherished in a new and deeper way.

This is a WONDERFUL way to really get to know Jesus!

The author of this book has incredible insight into the life of Christ. As I read the story of each experience in Jesus' life, I feel like I am there, as Mary nursed him as a baby, and at the very moment that the blind man was able to see for the first time in his life. This book is incredible, I think everyone should read it.

He's Incredible

This is another of Gire's books that is inspiring and challenging! It encourages you to get out of your rut of drudgery and seek the God of our faith. Gire challenges us to open our eyes and take time to see God nearer and clearer and spend quality time with Him. I am a retreat speaker and found the information to be helpful with planning retreats and helping others to find their walk with the Lord fulfilling and deepening

the best account of the life of christ i have ever read

i found gire's writing style to be both prolific and beautiful. i would re-read sentences and paragraphs many times over in order to fully digest and absorb the profound meanings and to experience the moments he was describing as intensely as was intended. i have never been quite so affected by a devotional, it is a gift from above!
