Kinsley is the quiet, shy girl. Rhett is the misunderstood boy. They're both paired with each other for the class overnight camping trip. Rhett lets Kinsley lead the way, not realizing she doesn't know where she's going. Kinsley finally realizes they're lost and Rhett takes the lead. While the two of them are trying to figure the way out of the forest, they can't, and have to stay in caves along the way. Rhett and Kinsley start to become closer while trying to find their way out, and Kinsley relying on Rhett to take care of her and her diabetes due to an injury she sustained.
