The early and rapid diagnosis of inflammatory pathology is an ongoing challenge for the veterinary practitioner. To this end, we propose in this book a practical use of EPP (serum protein electrophoresis) interpretation, combined with all the data collected for each individual examined, for the benefit of the practitioner's clinical exploration in the practice of bovine medicine, in order to confirm clinically apparent cases and discover other asymptomatic cases. Serum protein electrophoresis can be considered a practical diagnostic tool in rural medicine. On the other hand, its use is reserved for an individual clinical approach, and cannot be interpreted on a population scale due to the specificity of each individual (physiology, environment, adaptation).
