Internal is a collection of poems, prose, and musings written and compiled by Afghanistan War Veteran Christian Vanderbush. Christian was a Marine deployed to Helmand Province in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. While serving he would turn to writing during the more mundane moments as a way to collect his thoughts and re-center himself. He didn't, however, put down the pen when he returned home.
