"Interior Waypoints" is an adventure and a romance-about an Alaskan couple who find personal fulfillment within the context of their marriage. They travel under sail, by sea kayak, and overland, at times together and frequently apart, but always supporting one another's private journey. They arrive in South America stronger and more united in their collective bond.

The true-life tale is at once a travel adventure, a sailing cruise, a paddling excursion, and a matrimonial survival story of how within a relationship each person can achieve personal goals. Marriages start off with two distinct personalities, but as the years progress the two lines blur and evolve into one entity. The purpose of this expedition across Central America was to restore independence without destroying the union.
