What is interdisciplinarity? How do art classes project interdisciplinarity or vive-versa? Is art in itself interdisciplinary? Faced with so many questions, this research seeks to broaden knowledge about the concept of interdisciplinarity, with art as its main focus. Discussing the relationship between art and interdisciplinarity not only in the field of education, but also in works of art in terms of their production, aesthetics and reading comprehension throughout human history. Considering that in contemporary education interdisciplinarity is a subject that is included in schools regardless of the level of education and needs to be studied in more depth and detail so that we don't have a reductionist view of the subject and lose out on the quality of teaching, since interdisciplinarity adds positively to the teaching of art and other disciplines, this book seeks to provide clarification on the subject.
