This lesson was birthed out of a prayer warrior's desire to compile the teachings she received from God and from several anointed men and women of God in the ministry of intercession. This lesson is not a manual on how to pray and it's not recommended for those who do not yet have a basic understanding of the plan of salvation. It is recommended for mature Christian Leaders, Intercessors and Believers who are focused on a deeper prayer life. It is important to note, that no one is fully equipped to carry out God's will or to share in His work solely because he or she has learned teachings. It takes a personal relationship with Him. It takes His grace and more. Before Jesus sent His disciples forth, He trained them to become as wise as serpents, yet as innocent and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16 reads, "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves". God is continuously working in our lives as well, to transform us into prepared vessels. There are no shortcuts to successful intercession. One mistake would be for us to enter spiritual battle blinded by our own perspective. Proverbs 20:18 states, "Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war". It is imperative to remember Ecclesiastes 9:18a, "wisdom is better than weapons of war".
