You are unique. There is no other person on the face of the earth that has your face, hair, body, thoughts, desires, experiences, connections, perspectives, knowledge, and life experiences. Not another person in all the 7.3 billion on earth today was born when, where, and how you were born. No one else has had the same encounters with your family, teachers, or friends. Your life has evolved around and because of all these things. They have formed your perspective and how you view your world.

Because you were so uniquely created in your specific environment you are exclusively designed for a definite purpose. All the great and fun memories as well as the traumatic and painful ones can be molded into something useful and beautiful. IF you are willing to allow those things in your life to be used for the benefit of someone else.
There is not a person on the face of this earth who is without any painful, confusing, difficult, embarrassing, hurt, or sadness. Every one of us has been raised in an imperfect environment surrounded by people living imperfect lives. No one is immune. People may appear unaffected, but each of us has wounds.

What we do with the wounds is the key. We can seek to cover them either by living in shame, judgementalism, or perfectionism. We can pretend they are not there and overcompensate by becoming a "work alcoholic" or addicted personality. Or we can truthfully expose them by recognizing that while they no longer have power over you, they can become your strengths.

Our unique life can be intentionally used in our fundamental purpose. He made us for His glory and our mutual enjoyment of each other. He wants us to love others and share Him with others. We have relegated this commission to the "professional" and have abdicated this responsibility to them. But His ways are far superior to ours.
