This book explores non-duality or One Reality as expounded by the Sikh Scripture. As per the Sikh Scripture, there is only One Reality called Ek Onkar (), that has seemingly divided itself into two, the subject, that we are, and the object that the world is. This world we see, is not what it appears to be. It is not made of brick and mortar but is made of the One Reality. And we are not body minds as we believe ourselves to be, we are this One Reality too. The world is somewhat similar to our dream at night. In the dream our mind divides itself into two, the dreamed subjects and the world. The dream appears to be made out of matter but we all know that is not true. This book explores our reality as human beings, and also the reality of the world in which we live. It also describes the way to realize the unity behind this duality, through the wisdom and understanding brought about by the Sikh Scripture, and thereby achieve peace and happiness in life. There are other topics like ego, free will, meditation and causes of suffering to name a few, that are discussed in context of the One Reality. One important discovery made from this understanding is that whatever is happening in our life is happening in us and is our own making. So we should not blame others for our misfortunes. These are some of the specific areas explored in this book: * What is One Reality and how to get a feel of it. * We are not body or minds, we are the One Reality. * The world we see is a grand illusion of the Almighty. * We believe we have free will, but that may not be true? * What is ego and how to eradicate it. * We are all asleep going through our life even while we are awake. * Whatever happens in our life is is happening inside us and it is our own making. Insights from the Sikh Scripture Sri Guru Granth Sahib bring out the wisdom on these and similar topics in an easy to understand language. The Sikh Scripture composed in early 1600, is the newest Scripture to reveal the truth about non-duality. The Sikh Scripture is probably the only holy book with its very first Hymn that defines the One Reality: "There is only One Reality, It is Eternal, Real (not a concept), Creator, Fearless, Without Enmity, Never Dies, Never Born and Self Luminous." After a brief reference to the One Reality in the first Hymn, the Scripture then goes on to expound on this One Reality with 5894 devotional and loving Hymns on1430 pages. The poetic Hymns were composed by six Sikh Masters called Gurus and 15 non-Sikh Saints of India including Hindus and Muslims. The author is confident that anyone who lives one's daily life with this understanding in mind, will be appropriately rewarded. The life will become more peaceful and stress free. Friendship and love will replace hate or disdain in the world. This would be a natural outcome if everyone understood that we are all One Entity. I wish there was a way to inject this understanding into our world leaders. That would end the wars that are currently flaring between countries and are endangering the world peace.
