GREAT

This is one of the bets guides about music you'll ever read, it surely fits into the top 10 of the best books about the industry ever printed. Starting with the history of the recording industry and the first simple conflicts the book works its way up to the major publicity scandals that plague a sick and twisted music industry. Along with this there are ample descriptions of the processes that each musician passes through on the way to fame and fortune, this examples are of fictional but are taken fro real life and come from experienced people that have been in the business for many years.

A GREAT book!

This is one of the very best books on the subject available today! It covers the history of modern music all with the purpose of building a foundation for better understanding why it is the way it is today.Exceptionally well written. I am pleased to give it my highest recommendation
