Richard R. Jackson grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Never did he think that he would end up in prison at the young age of 17.Distraught, confused and terribly unaware of what his new life behind bars would bring. Richard turns to a group within the prison walls that informs and educates him about true brotherhood, love and loyalty.Richard candidly tells his story with passion. His purpose is to deter young and misguided males and females to remain outside of prison and to help them live productive lives.After more than two decades of incarceration, Richard now resides in Schenectady, New York. Richard is currently Assistant Director of 1 Life 2 Live; a community safety, crime prevention program in Schenectady county.He is the Re-entry specialist for Community Fathers Inc., a non-profit grassroots support and empowerment organization in conjunction with Schenectady County Correctional Facility. Richard interacts with a number of non-profits, youth agencies and groups that are neighborhood-centric and geared towards youth empowerment and crime prevention.Richard R.
