After being in and out of abusive relationships, who would have thought that I would finally find someone that would actually love and care for me the way I cared for them. Or did I? Trusting anyone did not seem to be something I was ready to do. There was something inside of me afraid to let go and trust my heart again to anyone. This is a book of poems that I wrote while on this journey of not only finding but understanding what love really means.
