Inscriptions (Part 1)

This is a political exercise written from a deeply spiritual point of view. Listen beloved, I am completely against Black death and misery, and the white supremacist context that produced the environment and culture that we must contend with. I don't give a f*ck how it is presented; I reject it! I'm doing everything in my power to push out a counter narrative that will motivate our youth toward positive attitudes, lifestyles, and outcomes. If you support the bulls*it, you're probably not going to like or even appreciate my work. If my attempt to rescue our kids from these coffin corners makes you feel angry, irritated, or uncomfortable, I know I'm doing my job and God's work!

I wrote Inscriptions as a personal testimony. This is how I see and feel about what the hell is going on today. Just like my previous 11 books of poetry, affirmations, and thoughts, I'm trying to raise the divine energy and consciousness up to its highest levels. I'm not claiming to have all the answers, but I'm not going to let that fact stop me from getting involved. God is at the center of everything that I do, and I pray he is happy with me and my efforts.
