Innocence Lost

My desire to share this is for someone else who is lost, existing in a life of quiet desperation and no hope, to be set free. I want to help others find what I have found. I longed for true peace of mind, true joy, true happiness and hope for the future and found it by running to God not away from God. I have been touched by the Holy Spirit and know He dwells within me. I want others to know that God is there for them, if only they will reach out and trust. He doesn't want to punish us for our sin, but to save us from our sins. When my heart opened up to God's love, grace and mercy I could face the truth of my life, repent of my actions and accept God's will for my life, resting in him. I still have human frailties and know that neither life, nor I, can be perfect, but my trust is in God. He is in charge. My job is to obey, let go and let God.
