Within the pages of this book, lay personal pieces of poetry. The themes differ, in more ways than one. From social issues, to love and lack thereof, even short rantings. For me, writing allows me to be another person. I can explore worlds unknown with my imagination. I can place my feet in other people's shoes and speak on their behalf. Writing is something that allows me to be myself. Inner Thoughts is a composition of poems that I have written during my most difficult moments, past the 3 am hour, when the memories were just too much to handle. I have decided to do something that I love and writing is that thing. The issues that fueled the fire within me to write this book are not are not as alive as they were, but my passion for writing is, and will always be. I wrote this book because I don't mind getting a penny for my thoughts, my Inner Thoughts.
