Very Thorough for a wicca 101

I really liked this book. It is very informative for the beginning witch, with a few rituals, spells and visualizations to get you started. It by no means is the difinitive book on wicca, but it is a very good place to start as it doesn't bore you with history, or overwhelm you with a lot of jargon.

Down to Earth

This book wasn't preachy at all, and I really liked that aspect. I found it to be quite educational, basically the author stating "This is what we believe, and this is what we do. If you want to do it, here's how it's done." The book begins with basic principles of Wicca, an explantion of the Sabbats, magical equipment, magic history, and then on to spells, self-initiation, herbs, and meditation techniques.
