required reading for women before dating

I made this book required reading for my teenage daughter before she was allowed to date. Yes, some of the advice is obvious, but too often we raise our daughters to be "nice" at the expense of just having good sense. The title suggests that this book would contain a lot of man-bashing, but the truth is that Hits attacks some of the exact female behavior that also makes most men crazy. Like--why don't you just say what you want instead of politely waiting for the man to guess what you want and then pouting when he doesn't get it right? This book is full of no-nonsense common sense written in a shoot-from-the-hip style with lots of cartoons and plenty of humor. An entertaining read, but also full of good advice.

Humorous and great fun.

A great book for women who are tired of being walked on and unsure how to appropriately proceed. This is a comical book and to the point. It makes for a great gift.
