Initiation Presents: The Founders

By Salt Devereaux and Saige The Gemini

Every legacy has a beginning. This is theirs.

Before the passion, the secrets, and the dynastic love stories of the Initiation universe, there were the Founders-the first women of Delta Pi Psi (1912) and the pioneering men of Beta Delta Mu (1914).

Set across Elm City University and Atlanta University during the early decades of the 20th century, The Founders unveils the brilliance, discipline, and quiet rebellion that shaped two organizations destined to influence generations.

Meet the original visionaries whose bloodlines carry into the modern characters readers have come to love-JayVon, Justice, Levi, Trice, and others. In this story, their great-grandparents step into the spotlight for the first time, revealing:

How the sorority and fraternity were formed
The values, rituals, and bonds that became tradition
The academic and cultural challenges of the era
The strength, pride, and love of community that built a dynasty

Salt & Saige the Gemini deliver a breathtaking historical tale grounded in dignity, excellence, and purpose-without trauma exploitation. This is a tribute to Black brilliance, legacy-building, and the timeless power of unity.
